How to apply Lakme Nine to Five Flawless Makeup?

This foundation is quite tricky to apply. DO NOT apply it either with finger tips or foundation brush. Apply it with a damp sponge. Dot foundation on your face and next and lightly blend the foundation in a downward direction from hairline to neckline. it using a damp sponge. I also noticed dry flakes around my nose after I applied the foundation. To combat that, I apply a dilute solution of glycerin and water around my nose after I am done with my base makeup (concealer+foundation + powder). Voila! no dry patches after that.  The real glow of the foundation comes after 5-7 minutes of application. It smooths and evens out the skin tone pretty well.

Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Color – Red Chaos

The shade is a very light peachy nude, it is not red like it is named, you can even say this is lighter than Scarlett drill and may be on the same lines. I love the shade it is creamy and not delicate that it would break, the texture is feather light, its like wearing no lipstick at all, but honestly i think the pigmentation could be better, I know its a nude shade but I need to swipe it thrice to show up, so may be pigmented lips might not find it best for them.

This is essentially a peachy nude, almost and MLBB color,and hence very apt to this range called office stylist. this is a great shade if you like to go colorless to office, just enhance the lips a bit,shape them and avoid looking washed out, then this is it! The feel of this lipstick is on the sheer side, it feels very light so I think people who don’t like that feeling of wearing a lipstick and that heavy feel on the lips, will love it!

The color is a gorgoues orange, mix of coral and pink and red and I instantly fell for it, probably the best in the new Lakme collection, the pigmentation is great and so is the texture,it feels smooth enough for a matte and one swipe gives you enough color. BUt sicne it is matte, it settles in lip lines and you need to be careful with coverage. The shade will cover pigmented lips.

The “saffron gossip” is a gorgeous looking orange shade which would be suitable by and large only for fair skinned lasses. The lipstick has a creamy texture and glides smoothly on the lips. The pigmentation is also great. One swipe can give good coverage and cover all flaws.

5 super easy summer cool drinks

Its 42° ! who else hates summer?
For me summers are just about sweating and tanning . though its good for only two things, one is clothes

 ( actually less clothes) and second thing is cool drinks. here are 5 cool drinks to beat the heat this summer.

1. LEMONADE

In a 1 gallon container, place sugar and hot water, and stir until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice and cold water to render 1 gallon. Stir until well mixed. Pour lemonade over glasses of ice, squeeze slice of lemon on top of each, and garnish with a sprig of mint.

2. COLD COFFEE

in a blender take take 1 tbsp instant coffee, 3 to 4 tbsp sugar, add ¼ cup warm water.add ¼ cup warm water. stir very well. to make the shake. you can also use skimmed milk or low fat milk. if using skimmed milk or low fat milk, then just reduce the ¼ cup water to about 2 to 3 tbsp.
blend for a minute or till the coffee solution becomes frothy and the color lightens a bit.
add 6 to 7 ice cubes. for a thick cold coffee.pour 2 cups chilled milk.
blend once more till everything is mixed well and you get a nice froth on top.pour in glasses and serve cold coffee.

3. ICED TEA

1.Place the tea bags in a large heatproof glass pitcher. Use a vegetable peeler to strip the peel from the lemon or orange, avoiding as much of the white pith as possible, and add the peel to the pitcher.
2.Pour the simmering water into the pitcher and let it steep for at least 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and discard. Refrigerate the tea until cool.3.To serve, fill iced tea glasses with ice and pour the tea over the ice. Sweeten with simple syrup, if desired.

4.VIRGIN MOJITO

1. Put the mint leaves and lemon wedges in your jar/glass
2. Add sugar
3. Using a spoon mash the ingredient and bash the lemons to give out their juice
4. Bruise the mint leaves
5. Ensure the sugar combined nicely
6. Pour sprite
7. Add ice cubes in it and enjoY.

5. VANILLA MILKSHAKE

  

In a blender, combine ice cream, milk and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
